Young people from across the Isle of Wight came together at the Island Youth Voice event to share their experiences of growing up on the Island and discuss what is working well and what could be improved with Joe Robertson MP.
The event, held in partnership with the Isle of Wight Youth Trust and Isle of Wight Council, gave decision-makers the opportunity to hear directly from young people about the issues that matter most to them. Organisations including Network Ryde and the Bay Youth Project were also represented.
Mr Robertson said, "It was good to join the Island Youth Voice event with the Isle of Wight Youth Trust and Isle of Wight Council to discuss what is good about growing up on the Island and what could be better. It is really important that decision-makers understand from young people's perspectives and hear those views directly wherever possible. Great to see Network Ryde and the Bay Youth Project.”
