A visit to Lift Ryde Academy provided an opportunity for Joe Robertson MP to hear directly from Year 11 students on a range of policy issues as they prepare for their upcoming exams.
The session focused on encouraging debate, with students sharing views on criminal justice reform, online safety for young people, and the UK’s relationship with Europe.
Mr Robertson said, “Always a pleasure to visit Lift Ryde Academy and speak with Year 11 students as they look towards exams. Most recently we talked about improving prison rehabilitation to reduce reoffending, a social media ban for under-16s (for and against) and improving relations with our European neighbours.”
