The vital work being carried out to support older residents on the Isle of Wight was highlighted during a recent visit from Joe Robertson MP to Age UK Isle of Wight.
The visit provided an opportunity to see first-hand the impact the charity has on mitigating challenges faced by older Islanders and to thank the team for their continued dedication.
Joe Robertson MP said, “It was great meeting with Lorraine, Maria and Joe at Age UK Isle of Wight. They do so much vital work locally by tackling loneliness and supporting older Islanders to meet everyday needs. They have a brand agreement with Age UK nationally but are completely reliant on funds raised locally to do their important work. My sincere thanks to all the amazing staff and volunteers.”
