A well-attended Jobs Fair hosted by Joe Robertson MP brought together employers and jobseekers from across the Island, highlighting opportunities and local talent.
The event saw a diverse range of attendees, including qualified nurses looking to return to work and young people completing their studies and planning their next steps. With employment opportunities often limited on the Island, the fair aimed to connect residents with potential roles while supporting wider economic growth.
Mr Robertson said, "Thank you to everyone who came to my Jobs Fair. Great to see such a good turnout, with people from all stages of their careers engaging with employers and exploring opportunities It is definitely something we will look to do again. Jobs and opportunities are hard to find on the Island. My thanks to Visit Isle of Wight and Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce for helping to promote our Island and grow our local economy".
