Despite the rain, Joe Robertson recently attended the Ryde Illuminated Carnival, even being honoured with the role of being a judge.
The Ryde Illuminated Carnival is one of the largest carnivals on the Island, tasked with ending the Island’s carnival season on a high. The event, filled with colour and community spirit, showcased the dedication of participants and organisers alike. As a judge, Mr Robertson noted the enthusiasm of all involved shining through despite the damp conditions.
Mr Robertson said, “A big well done to those who turned out in the rain for the Ryde Illuminated Carnival. Honoured to have been given judging duties. That's the Island's carnival season now over in a rather damp but spirited finale! Thank you to everyone involved in organising and taking part in our carnivals this summer.”
