A visit to the newly renovated Sandown Town Hall highlighted the transformation of the building into a vibrant youth space, as Joe Robertson MP toured the LINK Youth Centre.
Meeting with Julian and Emma from the Bay Youth Project, he saw first-hand how the refurbished site is being used to support young people through a wide range of activities and projects. The centre now offers dedicated spaces for engagement, including a sound studio for music sessions, demonstrating how the redevelopment has created meaningful opportunities for local youth.
Joe Robertson MP said, "It was good to catch up with Julian and Emma at the LINK Youth Centre, based at the newly renovated Sandown Town Hall. It was great to see how the space has been transformed and hear more about the wide range of activities and projects on offer to young people, including a sound studio for music sessions. I thoroughly enjoyed having a tour of the building and seeing how the ideas have come to life for the benefit of young people"
