Joe visits Calbourne locomotive back in action at Havenstreet

Joe Robertson visited Havenstreet with his family during the week in August.

Havenstreet station is the heart of the Isle of Wight Steam Railway. The station has been carefully restored to reflect a 1940s British Railway. The train takes you on a 10 mile round trip through unspoilt Island Countryside.

Joe said:

"Great to see the LSWR O2 locomotive "Calbourne" back in action and I even got to drive it! A trip to Havenstreet comes highly recommended, especially fish and chip evenings on Tuesday night during July and August."
