Support for residents facing hardship in Ryde was discussed during a recent meeting between Joe Robertson MP and Aspire Ryde.
The conversation centred on how the experiences of people living in poverty can be better heard and how practical support can more effectively meet the needs of those struggling with day-to-day living.
Joe Robertson MP said, “Good to meet up with Trevor at Aspire Ryde and take his advice how the voices of people in poverty in Ryde can be amplified, and the needs of those struggling with daily living can be met. This wide reaching community engagement is something the Ryde Neighbourhood Board is looking to improve on as it spends and invests up to £19m over the next 7 years.”
