Joe Robertson MP visited the Isle of Wight’s Institute of Technology at CECAMM (Centre of Excellence for Composites, Advanced Manufacturing and Marine) this week to learn more about the cutting-edge training and opportunities being developed for local students.
The state-of-the-art Whippingham facility, run by the Isle of Wight College, offers a wide range of full- and part-time courses in engineering, composites, and marine technologies – helping equip young people and adult learners with the skills needed for the Island’s technical and manufacturing sectors.
Mr Robertson said, “Pleased to have visited the Island’s Institute of Technology at CECAMM. It was great to speak with students and staff and have a tour of the new facility, which will improve the overall experience on offer.”
