The ongoing importance of local journalism on the Isle of Wight was highlighted during a recent visit to the Isle of Wight County Press by Joe Robertson MP.
Founded in 1884, the publication remains a key part of the Island’s media landscape, combining a strong online presence with its weekly print edition, the UK’s biggest-selling weekly newspaper.
Joe Robertson MP said, “Good to catch up with Lori, Ollie, Rufus, Zach and the whole team at Isle of Wight County Press. Founded in 1884 it remains an important part of our diverse local media landscape with a strong presence online and the Friday newspaper - the UK's biggest selling weekly.”
