Joe Robertson MP recently met with local and regional business leaders at the Central South event in Westminster to discuss regional challenges and explore new opportunities for economic growth and investment on the Isle of Wight.
The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, ensuring that the new Mayor for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight is equipped with the tools and powers needed to deliver meaningful regeneration, particularly on the Island.
Mr Robertson said, “It was great to meet so many local and regional business leaders at the Central South event in Westminster. There was some really encouraging dialogue around the challenges to regeneration and the opportunities for local growth. It was also a pleasure to catch up with Donna Jones, the Conservative candidate for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Mayor, to discuss how we can ensure our region reaches its full potential.”
