Joe Robertson MP recently attended the official launch of the new Aspire Flats on Ryde High Street, opened by the Island’s Lord-Lieutenant, Susie Sheldon.
The launch marks the completion of a community-led housing project that will provide much-needed accommodation for Island women who have nowhere safe to live. The project has transformed a previously underused site into needed secure and modern flats.
Mr Robertson said, “I was pleased to be at the launch of the new Aspire Flats on Ryde High Street this evening. When I last visited in October, the site was still under construction – wonderful now to see the flats completed and ready for tenants. Huge congratulations to Trevor Nicholas, Bob White, and the whole Aspire Ryde team, together with D.N. Associates, for bringing this project to life.
